Air+Style. These two words stand for high-level snowboarding, amazing live acts and wild party vibes. Air+Style has been representing the snowboard scene for decades.

The world’s 24 best riders are back in the capital of the Alps, where they compete in the 31th Opel Air+Style for points for the Air+Style World Tour. As expected from Air+Style, we are looking forward to spectacular action in mid-air.

The only question left is who will dethrone the previous-year winner Stale Sandbech in the new venue. There are many challengers.

We’ll find out after the second stop of the Air+Style World Tour on 6 February in Innsbruck.

News Flash: After a night of action on the big air jump at the 6Star TTR Billabong Air & Style 2009/II in Innsbruck, Austria, Marko Grilc took the top spot on the podium and is now the new leader on Swatch TTR World Tour. Grilc was not on the original invite list, but after two injures during practice for the main event, he was given a spot in the legendary snowboard competition.

World Rookie Fest, the most famous youth snowboard freestyle event in the world, took place in Livigno, Italy, at Mottolino Fun Mountain, with 155 riders from 18 different nations.
