In the waning moments of New Zealand's winter season, the Armada team headed down to Snowpark to session its near perfect jump line and halfpipe. The team also did a sunrise to sunset shoot, starting on Cardrona's 90+ ft. table top and finishing with the Snowpark bottom jump, with some of the most mind blowing sunset backdrops out.

This past March, the Armada team embarked on an area not necessarily known for it's skiing, Turkey. They were surprised to find ample amounts of snow and a very friendly and curious people to the freeskiing culture. Legend JP Auclair and young gun Torin Yater Wallace skied everything from rails, jumps, to old Turkish army barracks throughout Uludag and Kartal Kaya. This is ARtrip Turkey. Powder days at Treble Cone in New Zealand are an amazing thing. Usually it takes about half the day for the Saddle basin to open, and seeing as the saddle is where the magic happens, frothers and powder hounds will line up for at least 30 mins in the hopes of scoring first chair. When the rope drops, chaos ensues as the Saddle Opening Chinese Downhill gets under way. Anyone who has been there knows how mad it can be, and I for one love the madness! This is me scoring 2nd chair on a mad dog...

The Armada Team journeyed out to South Korea this past February to see what the skiing culture in and around Seoul was all about. They spent most of their time at High 1 Resort, exploring the mountain and all of the concrete and rock ledges surrounding the hotel area. Most of the people who lived in this region had never witnessed this kind of skiing before.
