All eyes are on Zurich for Europe’s biggest freestyle sports competition! The freestyle.ch 2011 unites the elite riders in the Freestyle disciplines of Snowboarding, Freeskiing, FMX, and Skateboarding.
In FMX Dany Torres (ESP), Maikel Melero (ESP), Tom Pages (FRA), Hannes Ackermann (GER), Petr Pialt (CZE) and Mat Rebeaud (SUI) progressed through to the Semifinals. DanyTorres has been enjoying his greatest season yet, with him being crowned the Overall Champion of the Red Bull X-Fighters Tour 2011 recently. Mat Rebeaud didn’t want to let his fans down and even competes with a partially fractured femoral!

The 16th annual freestyle.ch Zurich was a hit despite the weather. 28,000 freestyle fans gathered at the Landiwiese to cheer on their freestyle superstars. The entire FMX and skateboarding contests were shifted to Sunday due to heavy rainfall. The Swiss Mat Rebeaud won the FMX final, 2nd is Dany Torres (ESP), 3rd Libor Podmol CZE). On the 4th place is Petr Pilat (CZE).
