With two weeks to go, Rowan has been grabbing what time he can around the trail building day job to ride his Orange five and prepare for the event. Urge Cabo Verde will be taking place between the 7th and 14th of February and will culminate in a race event descending 3000m from the top of a Volcano to the sea. Hans Rey, Richie Schley, and Joscha Forstreuter travelled to the Indian Himalayas. Their goal: to reach the mysterious Roopkund Lake, a glacial lake in the Uttarakhand region, famous for hundreds of ancient human skeletons at its bottom, and to ride down a sheer endless technical downhill over 3,500m/ 11'000ft vertical on trails that nobody has ever ridden before.
