The 2009 Freeride World Tour came to an end with an amazing fourth stage and final in Verbier (Switzerland)! Xavier DE LE RUE is the 2009 Freeride World Champion while taking incredible victory on the mythical Bec des Rosses face!
Xavier DE LE RUE leading before the stage in Verbier, honoured his Golden Bib with an amazing run on the windblown Bec des Rosses face with 55° areas.
As the day wasn?t good enough, Xavier?s line got voted best line of the season and for the second year in the row he?s leaving tour again with a brand new Nissan.

?I came back from Lake Tahoe (USA) a few days ago. I was there only 10 days but I had great time shredding Americans snowparks with my friends! Thomas GERIN and Brynild VULIN two of our French Euro riders met in l'Alpe d'Huez (France) for a spring photoshoot to get some actions for next year ROOSTER TV webisode! The fat kickers built in the backcountry with the help of a snowcat didn't survive to their attacks with sick switch Bs 5, Fs 5, Front 9, Bs 7, Bs 1 no grab ( in memory of Tristan Picot) The action was captured from a helicopter, a paraglider and from the ground, all angles were covered. Chamrousse is the resort I shred most of the time when I'm around Grenoble. I take care of the conception and communication for the park, and I'm a member of the resort's team which gather around ten riders (few skiers are part of it as well). It's our playground !
