From August 2011 - August 2012 Swiss mountaineering specialist MAMMUT celebrates its historic 150th anniversary with the Biggest Peak Project in history. Within a year 150 teams will set out to conquer 150 peaks all around the world!
On August 3rd 2011, exactly 200 years after the first ascent of the Jungfrau (4,158 m), numerous VIPs from politic, business and sport teamed up with top international mountaineers to officially kick off the Biggest Peak Project. See you on the next peak!

200 years ago, on August 3rd 1811, the brothers Johann Rudolf and Hieronymus Meyer from Aargau, Switzerland, climbed the first four-thousand-metre peak in Switzerland, the Jungfrau mountain. 200 years of exciting mountaineering history followed.

The stars of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series get ready for the competition's next stop in Malcesine, Italy, this Sunday. After two previous visits to Polignano a Mare, the divers head north to Lake Garda and, following a record-breaking event in La Rochelle, another big crowd is expected in 'Bella Italia'.
