Pow Fun - Ep2 - Ferrie Revelstoke

Pow Fun is a freeski webseries following Kiwi freeskiers shredding, competing, and having fun in the pow. Episode 2 features some of the Smith Optics freeski comp at Fernie. Earlier on I made a roadtrip up to Revelstoke for the Canadian Freeski Champs. Day One went well but the snow and cloud came into the venue blocking the judges view of the competitors. The comp was postponed to the next day and the first nine had to go again. Thirty cms of dry pow freshened the venue for Day Two of qualifying. I got to drop first and came into my first air too hot, missing the transition and double ejecting. That was the end of the comp for me, but there was plenty of fresh powder to shred while friends competed in the rest of the competition.
