The enormous stream of people back in 2011, when the World Series came to the world famous Lake Garda for the first time, caused the police to close the roads around the charming town of Malcesine. The cliff diving elite is once again on its way to Italy and brings with exciting developments: After the last competition in the Azores archipelago, England’s Gary Hunt comes as the new intermediate ruler and rookie Jonathan Paredes might have heralded a new era with this latest podium finish. To spice it all up, the world’s bravest female high divers will take the plunge in the first Red Bull Cliff Diving Female Competition the day before it’s the men’s turn.

Red Bull Cliff Diving has its first female winner – Anna Bader from Germany. It was the eagerly-awaited competition and this Saturday afternoon four athletes proved why they were chosen to compete in the first-ever Red Bull Cliff Diving women’s competition.
