With 5 riders on the podium, Norway conquered the title of best team at the TTR Protest World Rookie Fest 2011, hosted in Livigno, Italy, at the Mottolino Snowpark. Norwegian rising star Emil Andre Ulsletten was crowned the best rider of the event and won, among the many prizes, his ticket to ride for the Oakley Arctic Challange in Oslo. Anna Gyrmati from Hungary won the girl category and got a ticket to the Rip Curl Sista Sessions in Austria.

As in the past edition, the Protest World Rookie Fest was a great platform for future stars of snowboarding, and brought together almost 100 selected riders from 15 nations. With a world class snowpark and the best under 18 years riders from all over, the Protest World Rookie Fest in Livigno was once again the most awaited snowboard youth event of the season and attracted media, team managers and snowboard fans from all over Europe. Special guest of the event and Yeti of the Final Day was Roope Tonteri, former WSF World Rookie Champion, who stomped amazing tricks such as a cab 1260.
