Suzuki Nine Knights MTB Short Film Competition

In addition to its usual photo competition, the 2014 Suzuki Nine Knights MTB also featured a Short Film Competition, where selected film makers came along to create a short clip documenting the action packed week of freeride mountain biking on Mottolino Fun Mountain in Livigno. The mostly national teams had free reign around "Il Castello", as well as, in the amazing Mottolino Bike Park and its backtoutry trails.

Judged by their peers at the award night, it was the all-Swede team, lead by filmer Simon Duse, who came out on top as the winner of the team battle taking the coveted "Best Film" title.

Geoff "Gully" Gulevich (CAN) was a man on a mission to take over the Suzuki Nine Knights MTB 2014 castle in Livigno Italy, stomping a gnarly backflip over the step up, huge airs on the hip and flipping from the drop tower on a dh bike. Super motivated, he was up at the crack of dawn for the freeride sessions on Mottolino Fun Mountain and was more than happy when he earned himself the "Ruler of the Week" title. In this edit, filmed 100% with GoPro, Tobi Wrobel (GER) drops a no hander off the tower then stomps a smooth backflip table top over the right castle kicker, finally cruising through the freeride section.
