This year’s race involved a total of 248km of mountain biking, 150km of trail-less trekking and 105km of river and sea kayaking in the wilderness of Chilean Patagonia. The 14 international teams had just 9 days to cover the distance. Only map and compass were allowed for navigation and only 6 teams managed to finish the race!
The fastest team this year is British team adidasTERREX/Prunesco, winning the world’s last wild race for the THIRD consecutive time! They are followed by US team Gearjunkie.com in 2nd place, French team Vaucluse Adventure Evasions in 3rd place, Ad Natura – Karibu from Croatia, EastWind from Japan and Perdido in el Turbal (USA & UK).
