This first Saab Salomon Avalanche Trophy in Åre (Sweden) proofed to be on the same level as any classic Marathon Downhill race found in the Alpes.
In the heart of amazing landscapes composed of beautiful lakes, forrest and mountains, the resort of ÅRE was the host for the 4th and second last leg of the SAAB SALOMON AVALANCHE TROPHY. This challenge aims to emphasize on the pilots versatility who have to show strenght, balance as well as fitness and courage.

Here we are, next 5 months trough out Europe, 5 stages Lyon (FRA) - Kielder (UK) - Alpe d?Huez (FRA) - Äre (SWE) and brixen (ITA), 4 MTB downhill practice such as : Fourcross, Marathon Downhill, Enduro race and Maxi downhill, we know who is the most versatil MTB downhill rider.
He is French and more than only winning the overall ranking, he did it winning the two last stages Äre (SWE) and on 27-28 september the one in Brixen. Rémy Absalon (FRA ? Commencal) did it with class, in front of Dolom...
