Sam takes us on a Castle Tour. He asks the guide which questions are the most important questions to ask the surfers and the crew. How old is the castle, what the story of the ghost is.
It’s definitely the story of the ghost: a very beautiful Lady who threw herself to her death rather than to submit to the evil Earl in 1426. He then goes along and asks the surfers and the crew about what they know about the ghost in the castle… of course everyone of them has a different version.

First of all of course Sam Lamiroy has to show us the biggest bull in the world… He has a morning of surfing and gets a sun burn in Scotland. He lets us know how surfers relax after a day in the freezing water… by shuttering the tranquillity on the Thurso Golf Course! The surfers can also enjoy a hot tub at the beach after their cold and gruelling surf. For Sam it is an emotional day: getting through the next round and his birdie. He does his best to lose but unfortunately he gets a good scor...

With the sun shining, a solid three to four foot swell at Brims Ness and light winds, this is no ordinary day at the O’Neill Cold Water Classic Scotland. Jarrad Howse tells us about the first day in Brims Ness, Thurso. For him Thurso is the perfect canvas for the O’Neill Cold Water Classic Series with its icy water, powerful waves and slaty reefs. In Heat 4 Kevin Sullivan (HAW) progresses to the next round with a solid heat score and some tube time. In Heat 6 German surfer Nicolaus Rupp (DEU)...

Following an unexpected lay-day yesterday at the O’Neill Cold Water Classic Scotland, the surfers are back in the water today as the competition moves to the famed Thurso East in windy, 4 foot but absolutely freezing cold surf. Sam Lamiroy, the best British surfer and at that the funniest as well, lets us partake in his journey to Thurso, Scotland. He wakes up at 5:30 am and starts from Cornwall, the supposedly warmest part of the country…He shows us the Tower Bridge and wants to make us believe it’s Birmingham instead of London. He gets bored from all the driving and catches a little break by snowboarding in Scotland! Sam’s journey to Thurso took 1008 miles, 2 days, a stop in London and a little play in the snow.

After a breakout rookie year on the ASP World Tour, Michel is looking to take his game to a whole new level during his sophomore campaign. And, by the looks of his latest edit, he's not letting anything stand in his way.

Jarrad, who finished runner up last year in Tasmania is keen to do well again. He gets his van set up for the night to catch some early sleep. The next morning he shows us how he prepares for a heat. First of all he chooses the right wetsuit for the conditions, waxes his board and has some breakfast. To get psyched for his heat he listens to some music before he paddles out. He is pretty disappointed that he didn’t pass through his heat, but looks forward to his chance in Scotland.

He leads us into “the dark side” of professional surfing. The highlight of this day is without a doubt John John Florence’s perfect 10 score.
