Joachim Oberhauser from South Tyrol (ITA) is new FAI Paragliding World Champion!
The 43 year old came out on top after 10 days of intense competition flying in the Overall Category (=Women+Men). He finished ahead of 149 other pilots from 48 different countries to win the title of FAI Paragliding World Champion and a prestigious gold medal of the World Air Sports Federation FAI. Gleb Sukhotskiy (RUS) took the 2nd place. Honorin Hamard (FRA) came in 3rd.
