Swing Game World Record – Swing Jumping World Championships 2014 – Kotka, Finland
Thursday 24th of July 2014, the Swing Jumping World Championships took place in Kotka, Finland.
The competitors jumped from a special 6 meters tall swing. Landing is done in water and the jumps picked with summersaults and twists are judged based on the “wow factor”.
In connection with the championships, an unofficial world record for the longest swing jump was also reached. This record was achieved by Ernest Kymi from Finland, whose record jump carried him all the way to 17 meters.
