Bring Light to Kibera: We found the light!

From 11th to 15th January 2013, thirteen students from the French School of Nairobi have launched an assault on Mount Kenya to attract attention on their humanitarian project "Bring light to Kibera," to illuminate schools in Kibera, the biggest slum in Africa. This allowed them to raise funds offered by NAS SERVAIR and allow the installation of 100 eco-friendly lights.

Monday, January 14th at 6:30 am, apprentice climbers reached the summit of Point Lenana at 4,985 m, amazed and exhausted after a long walk in the night. A sublime sunrise was their reward and the symbol of the light they wish to bring to schools in Kibera. It remained then to go through the spectacular canyon of Chogoria valley, 28 km long.
