The 5th edition of the LAAX OPEN will take place from January 13 to 18, 2020. It is the snowboarding event highlight in Europe’s mountains and guarantees snowboarding at its finest. It includes high-quality contests in slopestyle and halfpipe for women and men, sanctioned by FIS and WS, and offers CHF 200,000 in prize money.

The big event of the last FIS Snowboard World Cup before the Olympic Games took place last weekend in Laax (SUI). At the Crap Sogn Gion, the freestyle snowboarders had best conditions. A truly magical atmosphere after sunset at 2,252 meters above sea level, combined with sensational riding and rapturous fans. Riders, media and spectators were greeted with another sunny and beautiful day here in LAAX and a perfectly shaped Slopestyle course for the big finals today. Enni Rukajärvi (FIN) and Max Parrot (CAN) are taking home the titles as well as the biggest portion of the prize-money cheque.
