#project360 is going horizontal. #project360 is no longer just about marveling at traditional alpine tours and classic climbing routes;it now includes perhaps the most famous ski-touring race in the world: the Patrouille des Glaciers – which takes place from tomorrow till Saturday.
Zermatt to Verbier is 53 kilometers as the crow flies. However, if you want to ski this route through the heart of the Alps rather than fly it, it is 110 km of challenging terrain. For many die-hard ski touring...

For Black Diamond Global Athlete Babsi Zangerl, climbing the intimidating Bellavista, one of the hardest alpine multi-pitches in the world at 8c, wasn't about conquering the route’s huge roof. As Babsi quested upwards, trusting rusty pitons and terrible rock, she and her partner, Ambassador Jacopo Larcher, depended totally upon each other. “The most important thing is not standing on the summit…probably the most important thing for me is to share these experiences with somebody."

We traveled to the small village of La Motte-d'Aveillans in the South East of France to meet and film with the winner of the #MyTrailDog competition, Gaëtan Ugnon-Fleury and his dogs, Pépite and Jolyn. Our time with them taught us some simple lessons that we often forget in the rush of life. Trail Dog is an ode to the beauty and happiness that can be found in the simplest of things - friendship.

Norway’s Hanshelleren cave contains one of the densest concentration of hard sport climbs in the world. It’s not where you would expect to find two of America’s strongest boulderers. In 2015 Daniel Woods and David Graham traded their pads for GRIGRIs, packed their ropes, and crossed the Atlantic in search of forearm pumps, kneebars, and Thor’s own hammer.

David Lama and Conrad Anker became the first expedition ever to reach the headwall of Lunag Ri, a 6907 meters high mountain located at the border of Nepal and Tibet.
The Austrian-American rope team gave everything to be the very first to reach the untouched summit. But in the end, due to freezing cold temperatures and strong wind the only reasonable option was to retreat.

Just outside the town of Mouriès, France, in the small Alpilles Mountains, sits a legendary iconic route from the 1980s called, "Magie Blanche" (White Magic). This twenty-meter-high dead-vertical wall of 8b+ (5.14a) has little in common with the routes typically scaled by today's sport climbers. On October 16, the best among them took on the challenge. Here is the story of a truly unique encounter!

Avaatara – Free Climbing the Magical Sinkhole
David Lama achieves first ascent of the Baatara gorge in Lebanon
“If you travel roads that have already been discovered, you are basically always just following. But if you go somewhere where no one’s ever been and do something no one’s ever done, you’re on the lead and that’s one thing that I really like.” David Lama’s guiding philosophy has already taken him to the most impressive mountain ranges of the world and, more recently, to the Baa...

Alpinist Andreas Steindl crosses five 4000m peaks from Zermatt to Saas Fee in a time of 07h45:44
Zermatt, Switzerland (sgh) – Swiss alpinist Andreas Steindl (26) has accomplished what most people deem impossible: he ran 30.66 kilometres from Zermatt to Saas Fee crossing five 4000m peaks, including the Dom, the highest mountain lying entirely in Switzerland, in a time that awes even the most experienced mountain guides. For the 4,014 metres vertical ascent across pathless...
