A finish with a bang – the ENGADINSNOW by Dakine 2015 had everything a freeriders heart could desire, lots of snow and sunny conditions. The Freeride World Qualifier 4* Final and the unique Parallel Freeride Contest were held at the Northface of Mount Corvatsch.
Winner in the category ski men at the FWQ 4* Final was Ivan Malakhov from Russia, he convinced the judges with his spectacular run.

Sofia Mulanovich, the first Peruvian surfer who won the ASP World Tour (2004) and the first South American who gained the World Title (2004), creates now together with Swatch a Surf Academy for young Peruvian surf talents in Punta Hermosa, Peru.
To become a pupil of Sofia's Academy, 15 potential kids have to show their best surfing skills on the scouting days to get one of the 10 places for the full program.

The weather gods finally smiled on Engelberg on Friday evening and gave the Snow Epic’s riders exactly what they wanted, snow. And lots of it. But with the abundant downfall came new challenges. Paths and roads that formed part of Race 5, the Snow Epic’s closing contest, were not in a condition to ride on and the start was delayed. After a break to refresh and enjoy the spectacular scenery from the Brunnihütte, the riders lined up for Race 3 - a downhill time trial with riders departing at 30 second intervals.
Remo Heutschi (Switzerland) managed to find the best route down the quick downhill course and took the top step of the men’s podium ahead of Oliver Waser (Switzerland) and Marcel Odermatt from Engelberg ¬ an all Swiss podium.

After Race 1’s cross country-type course with few long climbs, the riders Friday took on the Brunni ¬ making their way from host town Engelberg (at altitude 1000m) to the Brunnihütte (1860m) for the first of three contests on the day.
Although Engelberg was not blessed with any new snow, the riders soon climbed up into snow-covered roads and trails. The main talking point though was the ascent, with several of the experienced riders describing it as the toughest they had ever taken on....

At the last stop of the tour Gary Hunt not only received the trophy for his fourth World Series title he also won the last stop and took his fourth victory of 2014. He beat the 2013 World Series Champion Artem Silchenko in second place and David Colturi from the USA in third place. The final stop took place on Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula a beautiful place to finish this season and to crown and to crown the champions.
